Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q - Do you offer a trial class?
A - Yes, we offer a free trial class to students. Please give us a call or email to set up your trial class!
Q - Do students need to wear a mask while in class?
A - Masks are optional at Blue Dog Dance. As recommendations from health agencies update, we will adjust accordingly.
Q - If an in-studio class needs to become virtual, will the tuition remain the same?
A - Yes. All class time and instruction will remain the same. We hope to be in the studio, but circumstances may require us to teach virtually for everyone's safety.
Q - Can we sample size or buy dance attire at the studio?
A - Yes. We have a select inventory for immediate purchase at the studio as well as sample sizing kits to order shoes. You are not required to purchase dance attire at the studio; we enjoy providing you with the convenience.
Q - Can I attend class virtually?
A - All classes will have a Zoom link. If you cannot attend class due to not feeling well, quarantining or traveling, please contact the studio for us to let you attend class virtually.
Q - My child has never danced before. Are they going to be behind?
A - We try to find the best fit class for each student based on age and experience. We offer enough levels that we can usually find a beginner or intermediate class that will work for their age, if they’ve never danced. If you're not sure, schedule a free trial class.
Q - Can parents watch the class?
A - We offer watch weeks 2 or 3 times a year so that parents can come into the studio to watch and see what their dancer is learning. During watch week, photos and videos are encouraged!
Q - Do you do performances or recitals?
A - Yes, we have a Spring recital at the end of the academic year to celebrate our dancers! We also offer performance opportunities throughout the year with studio produced shows and with our Performing Groups. (Recitals and performances have an additional fee.)
