Our Plan:  Blue Dog for Students

At Blue Dog for Students, your child will get dedicated time to focus on schoolwork amongst friends.

Students will wear masks at their own socially distant space and have their own table and chair. Students are encouraged to bring their own laptops with headsets. Students are welcome to use our high speed WiFi and our printer. Staff guides will help students determine what work to do and establish accountability. Guides will also assist students with their independent work when necessary.

This is a great way for students to have a dedicated time to focus on their school work while getting to discuss ideas with classmates.

Students can attend their virtual school classes while safe in our studio. Tuition is paid month-to-month.

Don't want to nag your kids about schoolwork? We will for you!

If you are interested, apply for our waitlist. You will be the first to get notified when a spot becomes available. You will not be charged any tuition or registration fees when placing yourself on the waitlist.

Philosophy of Blue Dog for Students

Blue Dog for Students is a way for the community to come together. Blue Dog Dance wants to offer the studio space - a controlled and sanitized space following COVID-19 protocols - for students to do their learning in the company of peers while also allowing parents time to attend to their own needs.

Please note, our staff is educated and eager to help, but we are not certified teachers. Blue Dog Guides will not be able to communicate with your child's teacher on your behalf. We are also not able to accommodate IEP or 504 plans.

We want to offer a positive, safe, engaging environment for students to do school work who would benefit from the (while physically distant) interaction with others. Did we mention giving time for parents to do their own thing, too? Win-win!
